As Kay Vess scrapes through the Outer Rim, the best Star Wars Outlaws charms can make the difference between a bold escape and a trip back to the last checkpoint. Charms split into major and minor varieties. Major charms often deliver multiple effects or one very strong perk, such as health restoration through melee kills. Minor charms tend to be narrower, boosting adrenaline or softening explosion damage. Kay starts with one major slot and one minor slot. More minor slots unlock as her journey progresses.

This charm is one of the first worth buying. It increases Kay's maximum health by 1. Normally, that kind of upgrade requires unlocking expert abilities. Data Cylinder
The Data Cylinder charm slows Kay's adrenaline loss. That gives her a wider window to activate Adrenaline Rush attacks. It is hidden in Sopashi Farm, an abandoned outpost in central Toshara. Players may also visit this spot during the Waterfall Intel stash quest. Use Nix to open the shutter, aim an ion blaster at the power core, and the door opens. The stash waits in a small bedroom to the right.
Crimson Dawn Crest
Kay receives this charm when she reaches excellent reputation with Crimson Dawn for the first time. She keeps it even if the syndicate becomes furious later. Major charms are rarer, but their benefits can rival expert abilities. Kay only gets one major charm slot for the entire game. Swapping them based on the situation is smart. Kay's Lucky Chip, her starting major charm, grants no bonuses and is purely thematic.
Overgrown Amber Stone
This charm increases Kay's health by 1. It also grants enough adrenaline for an Adrenaline Rush when Kay loses a large chunk of health at once. It rests in a chest at the center of an amberite formation in northern Toshara. Wind puzzles and aggressive animals guard the route, but early-game players will find the hassle worth it.
Nightsnake Scale
The Nightsnake Scale boosts blaster damage for a short time after Kay changes modules. Most battles demand at least one module swap, so this charm rewards adaptable players. Shuma sells it for 3,500 credits. They do business in Sashin Village on Akiva and later in Kijimi City's Thermal District.
Cocktail Umbrella
Missing one gear set piece? The Cocktail Umbrella can help. It acts as a gear set item for whatever set Kay is currently wearing. If she already has the other two pieces, the set's special bonuses unlock. Players must solve Jet Kordo's riddle on Toshara to find it, southwest of Typhon Rock.
Cyclone Relic
The Cyclone Relic gives Kay a chance to restore a Bacta vial after healing or a grenade after throwing one. It is underground at Excavation Site 12 on Akiva. A few vendors sell charms directly. Most, however, come from local treasure spots. These appear on the map as 'Treasure' tied to a landmark and a map pin.
